Bobbie Emory Obituary

Bobbie D. Emory, 94, of Zanesville, passed away at 9:51 p.m. on Monday January 28, 2019 at his home. He was born on June 3, 1924 in White Cottage, Ohio a son of the late Stewart and Cora Emory. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II. He retired from Columbia Cement Plant. He enjoyed golfing and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Marie Emory. One son Carey (Deanna) Emory. Two daughters Christie (George) Eckelbarger and Connie (Bobby) Nutter. Grandchildren Chris (Hillary) Emory, Chad Emory, Amy Tracey, Brad (Traci) Kelso and Joanna Eckelbarger. Great-grandchildren Kyle and Breanna Kelso, Caiden Emory and Conley Emory, Andrew and Ava Tracey. Two sisters Sue Pride and Sondra Graves. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Billie Emory and four sisters Jackie DeGarmo, Thelma Williams, Maxine Porter, and Joann Newton. Per Bobbie’s wishes a cremation will take place and no calling hours will be observed. A special thank you to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care.
