Carol (Huff) Sheka

Carol (Huff) Sheka, 74, of White Cottage, passed away Dec. 22, 2019 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House after an extended illness. She was born on April 24, 1945 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Richard Huff and Ruth Lovell. Carol retired from Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of First Baptist Church in South Zanesville. She is survived by her husband of 34 years James Sheka. Two sons Scott Dozer and Todd (Lisa) Smitley. Two brothers Rick (Lori) Huff and Terry (Lynn) Lovell. Two sisters Linda (Greg) Nesbit and Laura Huff. Three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Lisa Huff Perkins. Memorial services will be held 12:30 P.M. Sunday December 29, 2019 at First Baptist Church 80 East Main Street in South Zanesville with Pastor David Nuhfer officiating.
