Jack Edward VanVorhis

Jack Edward VanVorhis, 69, of Roseville, formerly of Buckeye Lake, passed away on Sun. Dec. 16, 2018 at Genesis Hospital. He was born on Aug. 2, 1949 in Westerville. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, great father and friend. He is survived by two sons Shawn VanVorhis and Josh VanVorhis. Seven grandchildren Jackie, Mary Joe, Scottie, Addison, Josh, Jackson, and Joseph VanVorhis. One sister Arlene Kelly. A cousin Linda Dover. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Mary Lou (Zeallear) VanVorhis. His wife Rita Marie VanVorhis. A son Joseph VanVorhis. A grandson Shawn Edward VanVorhis.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m Wed. Dec. 19, 2018 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where Zanesville VFW Post #1058 and American Legion Post #29 will conduct military honors at 1:30 p.m. Wed. A cremation will follow the visitation.
