Jodi Lynn Rusnak, 42, of Mount Perry, passed away Thur. Jan. 24, 2019 at Genesis Hospital. She was born on Dec. 7, 1976 in Zanesville. She fought a brave battle for 6 1/2 years against ovarian cancer. She always looked for the good in everyone and everything and taught others to do the same. She was a graduate of Zane State College where she received an associate degree in business, majoring in accounting. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Society. She was a weaver at Longaberger Co. for many years and was last employed at Genesis Healthcare as a Medicare biller.
She is survived and greatly loved by her mother Sandra Filkins Rusnak. One brother Daniel (Tammy) Rusnak. One sister Brenda Ault. A sister-in-law Kyla (Allen) Rusnak-Beekman, brother-in-law Steve (Anna) Ault, nieces Jessica (Mark) Fowler, Krysta Ault, and Elianna Rusnak, nephews Clayton, Kyle, Zachary, and Noah Rusnak. Her canine friend Bella and her cat Tom. She was preceded in death by her father Donald G. Rusnak, Sr., her brother Donald G. Rusnak, Jr., and an infant sister. Her grandparents John and Idella Filkins and Steve and Thelma Rusnak. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sun. Jan. 27, 2019 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Mon. Jan. 28, 2019 at the Life Way Church where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Jim Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery.
