June Lee (Harris) Kendall

June Lee Kendall, 87, of Zanesville, passed away Fri. July 20, 2018 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born on May 12, 1931 in Beverly, Ohio to the late Leroy and Eloise (Forrest) Harris. June retired from United Technologies and was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. June was a very kind and caring person who always put others needs before her own. June is survived by her beloved partner of 16 years Ben Bender; daughter Roxann (Phil) Hearing of Cambridge; son J.C. (Micki) Kendall of Cape Coral, FL; step-sons Tom Kendall of Newark and Lester Kendall of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister Helen Kissick of McConnelsville; grandchildren Brian Hearing, Jon Hearing, Christy Zigo, Allison Reed; nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lester Kendall; brothers Gene, Daine, Bob, Raymond, Kenny, and Billy Harris. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wed. July 25, 2018 at North Terrace Church of Christ 1420 Brandywine Blvd. Zanesville, Ohio where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Chris Steele officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to North Terrace Church of Christ.
