Marian Jayne (McGee) Mock

Marian Jayne Mock, 82, of Zanesville, passed away Tue. Sept. 4, 2018 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born November 19, 1935 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Merle and Daisy McGee. She was co-owner of Mock Excavating with her husband for over 50 years. In her free time she enjoyed working in her yard, watching deer, and spending time with her family and friends. She was an active member at Meadow Farm Church. She really enjoyed going on Sunday mornings with her family and friends. She is survived by the love of her life Bobby Eugene Mock. Two daughters Connie (Terry) Havens and Kim Huston. Five grandchildren Trisha Huston, Christina Havens, Joey (Kayla) Havens, Megan (Devan) Phillis, and Bryan Havens. Two great-grandchildren Cali Havens and Avah Havens, One brother Allen (Jenie) McGee, nieces Diane (Terry) Goss and Ellen (Tom) Hempfling, special friends Larry and Nancy Shampel. Her beloved cats Lexi Ann, Tommy, and Blackie.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by  two brothers Roger McGee and Tom McGee, and one sister Martha Lee Hansel. The family would like to thank Genesis Hospice Palliative Care (Morrison House) for their dedicated and loving care, Pastor Dean Cole and Doris Flynn for all their visits, and everyone who sent beautiful cards of encouragement. Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thur. Sept. 6, 2018 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Fri. Sept. 7, 2018 with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park and following the graveside service a bereavement dinner will be held at Meadow Farm Church at 6015 Coopermill Road, Zanesville, Ohio.
