Robert William Havens, Sr.

Robert William Havens, Sr., 81, of Roseville, passed away Mon. Oct. 29, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 26, 1937 in Avondale, a son of the late Herbert and Dorothy V. (Carter) Havens. He worked in the oil field for many years, loved working on his farm, gardening, mowing grass, and spending time with all his family. He is survived by eight children Tina Havens, Robert William Havens,Jr., Herbert Havens, Terry Havens, Tammy Havens, Penny Havens, Sommer Havens, and Michael Havens. Twenty grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. One brother Larry Havens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy L. Havens, one daughter Evelyn Havens, one granddaughter Sarah Havens. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thur. Nov. 1, 2018 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Fri. Nov. 2, 2018.Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Stovertown.
