Alberta L. (Bailey) Thomas

Alberta L. Thomas, 85, of Zanesville, passed away at 3:20 p.m. Wed. August 5, 2020 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born on October 24, 1934 in Hazard County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Jessie and Louise (Brown) Bailey. She loved gardening. She is survived by four children Kristina Knott, James (Lori) Carter, Charles Carter, and Ann Beasley. Eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. One sister Coni Weber. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Jess Bailey, Rebecca Wilson, Bernice Carnes, William McGee, Nethelda Douglas, and Price McGee. One son preceded her in death Jeffrey Carter.
