Barbara A (Dillinger) Palone

Barbara A. Palone, 85, of Zanesville, passed peacefully into heaven at 8:39 a.m. Sunday November 1, 2020. God opened the gates of heaven and said “Daughter its time for you to come home.” She was born on August 26, 1935 in Wellston, a daughter of the late Byrd and Stella Dillinger. She was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Zanesville Bowling Association Hall of Fame.  She is survived by three daughters Drema Cohen, Carla (Ed) Foster, and Cindy (Kyle) Traczyk. Two sons Chris (Jana) Palone and Mike Palone. 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Palone, five brothers, one sister, and one son-in-law Ed Cohen.

A special thanks to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care for their outstanding care given to Barbara for the past two years.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wed. Nov. 4, 2020 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Marc Caton officiating. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery.
