Brandon Morrison Obituary

Brandon James Morrison, 36, of Reynoldsburg, passed away early Sat. Sept. 4, 2021 at Arbors West in West Jefferson under hospice care. He was born on April 17, 1985 in Cambridge, Ohio, a son of Jim and Carolyn (Powell) Morrison. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister Holly (Shane) Baugess. His maternal grandparents Robert and Mary Lou Powell. His paternal grandmother Delores Morrison. One niece Shyanne and one nephew Trevor.   Special cousin Anthony Heims. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His fur babies Alexander, Maxim, and Theodore.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Basil Morrison.

Brandon had battled cancer for six years. He loved his dogs, enjoyed reading, playing video games, traveling, and skeet shooting. He graduated from John Glenn High School. He attended Marshall University, Charleston University, Ohio  State University and Columbus State majoring in history and cybersecurity.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thur. Sept. 9, 2021 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Mike Sales officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery where Pastor Aaron Bounds will conduct graveside services. Following the graveside services a luncheon will be served at The Anchor Church in Zanesville.
