Brenda Willison

Brenda Willison, 62, of Zanesville, died Friday, July 2, 2021 at her home. She was born March 11, 1959 in Zanesville, to Virginia and the late Darrell Willison. 

Brenda could be funny and frustrating, loveable and stubborn, ornery and unpredictable. But no matter what we always knew she loved us…and we loved her. Brenda died peacefully at home with her kitty by her side. She lived a chaotic life. Home was her safe haven. It was the place where she was most comfortable and secure…free from judgement and being misunderstood. First impressions may tell you she was one tough cookie. But if you were one of the few people who she let get close to her, you would realize she had a big, soft heart. 

Brenda graduated from Maysville High School in 1977. She is survived by her mother, Virginia Willison and siblings Mollie (Rodney) Crooks, Mick (Karen Hayes) Willison, Trudye (Randy) Bonar, niece Lacey (Andrew) Geyer, and nephews Josh (KayLeigh) Willison and Jeremy Willison, and her kitty fur-friend, Otis. She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell Willison, grandparents Hilda and Jim Neal, Freda and Bill Willison.

Per Brenda’s wishes, a caring cremation and private funeral service will be held.
