Carilyn J. Hopper, 83, of Zanesville, passed away at 10:50 p.m. Sunday October 6, 2024 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House with her family by her side. She was born on February 5, 1941 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late James Henry, Sr. and Eileen (Mendenhall) Henry. She retired from 5 B's. She was a faithful member of the First United Pentecostal Church and her life revolved around her grandkids. She is survived by two children Rodney (Mary) Paxson and Susie (Eddie) Sims. Three grandchildren Ashley, Andy, and Cara. Five great-grandchildren Kaden, McKenna, Aleigh, Mayson, and Madyson. Three sisters Kay Morrison, Marilyn Glosser, and Ellen (Mickey) Riggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hopper, her brothers James Henry, Jr., Donald Henry, and Michael Henry. Friends may call from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 12, 2024 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Pastor John Cottrell officiating. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery.
