Charles L. Carter, 64, of South Zanesville, passed away on June 1st at 11:50 pm surrounded by his family.
Charles was a long time chef in both Ohio & Florida. Always working on old muscle cars or watching old movies. He never missed the chance to crack a joke or make you laugh..
he is preceded in death by both parents John Carter and Alberta Thomas. Two brothers Jim Carter & Jeffery Carter.
He is survived by his three children John (Shonda) Carter, Angelia Henry, Alissa (Cody) West all of Zanesville Oh. Twelve best friends(aka grandchildren) Jonathan (Jade) Carter, Trevor Carter, Eliza Carter. Austin (Autumn) Thomas, Aaron Henry, Imogen (Myron) Henry, Jamal (Taylor) Mayle, Jalisha ( April) Erichsen, Jamar Mayle, Jashan Mayle, Kayonna & Dondre Frank. Four great grandbabies Cyrus Carter, Loretta Henry, Victoria Beach and River Thomas. Three sisters Ruth Carter, Kristina Knott and Ann Beasley. A very close friend Rocky Baker. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 5, 2024 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Fultonham Cemetery.
