Charles served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. But if you ever asked him about it, he would tell you it was no big deal and he wouldn’t ever do it again in his life. He didn’t like it at all. It wasn’t for him and when his time was up he was ready to go. He was a very happy man who would do anything for anybody. Now he can do that in heaven. In his later years his biggest joy was being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren watching them swim while having cookouts and bonfires.
