Clyde “Drew” Watson, 87, of White Cottage, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, July 7, 2024, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.


Born July 10, 1936, he was the son of late Clyde Glasgo Watson and Della B. Mincks. A graduate of Antioch High School, Drew went on and studied at Marietta College before he started work for Buckeye Pipeline and Ohio Oil Gathering. Drew was a lifelong devoted member of the Masons Lodge and after retirement, he enjoyed his time working in his beloved garden and tending to his yard and pond.


Drew was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sidwell-Watson; three sons, Jeff (Janis Clark) Watson, Richard (Teresa) Watson, and David “Clark” (Vicki) Watson; six grandchildren, Jordan Watson, Jason (Anne) Watson, Tyler (Rachel) Watson, Bethany (Tony) Cain, Emily (Jacob Miller) Watson and Hannah Watson; seven great-grandchildren, Lillian, Paxton, Skylan, Owen and Amelia Waston and Brock and Maxton Cain.


In addition to his parents and brother, Clark Watson, he is preceded in death by late wife, Shelba Watson and great-grandchild, Brighton Watson.


In honoring their loved one’s wishes, the family will not hold a public service or gathering. They appreciate your understanding during this time.
