Constance L. Starkey, 72, of Newark, passed away at 3:05 a.m. Mon. Nov. 4, 2024 at Altercare Newark North. She was born on Aug. 9, 1952 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Clarence and Melva (Wilson) Harter. She was a longtime LPN working at Cedar Hill Care Center and the Muskingum County Home. She is survived by three sons William Shane Harter, Robert Dean Starkey, and Codey Edward Starkey. Many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also, numerous nieces and nephews. Special friends Sally and Joyce. She was preceded in death by her siblings Frank Harter, Bud Harter, Bill Harter, Pat Tucker, Sue Wolfe, and Kay Harter.  Friends may call from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Fri. Nov. 8, 2024 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. A cremation will follow the visitation.
