Danny L Murgatroyd

Dan Murgatroyd, 70, of Zanesville, passed away on Sept. 7, 2022 at his home. He was born on March 25, 1952 in Zanesville, a son of the late Bill and Pat Murgatroyd.  He is survived by his siblings Bill (Pat) Murgatroyd, Kathy (Steve) Moore and Beckie (Earle) Adams. One son Bobby Murgatroyd. Three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kay Murgatroyd.  He retired from Polk's Scrap Iron and Metal. He and his wife enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Sat. Sept. 10, 2022 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in Rose Hill Cemetery.
