Edna Mae (Spring) Harlan, 89, of Roseville, passed away at 8:53 p.m. Wed. July 27, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on Sept. 14, 1932 in Roseville, a daughter of the late John Milner Spring and Mary F. (Kern) Spring. She had formerly taught Sunday School at the United Methodist Church in Crooksville and at Cornerstone Full Gospel Church. She was currently a member of Rhema House of Worship. She and her husband were foster parents for many years.
She is survived by one son Roger A. (Marge) Harlan of New Straitsville. Four daughters Linda Harlan, Diz (Steve) Luman, Shannon Tracey, and Nicole Harlan all of Roseville. Six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Three brothers Bud (Janet) Spring, George (Joan) Spring, and Ronnie (Shay) Spring. One sister Shirley Holshuer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lowell T. "Pappy" Harlan. Twin daughters Mary Lou and Marilyn Louise Harlan. One granddaughter Clarissa Nixon. Two brothers Larry Spring and Pete Spring. Two sisters Mary Alice Grant and Marilyn Sagle.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Fri. July 29, 2022 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sat. July 30, 2022. Pastor Wes Kidwell officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
