Edward Sims, 65, of Zanesville, passed away at 7:05 a.m. Thur. July 10, 2025 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. He was born on Jan. 24, 1960, in Zanesville, a son of the late Floyd and Ouida (Hoffman) Sims. He retired from Creative Packaging after 40 years of service. He is survived by his wife Susie Sims, daughter Chelsie (Ricco) Simpson, son Joshua (Christy) Sims, daughter Cara (Travis) Archer, and bonus daughter Katie Stewart. Two brothers Michael (Susan) Sims and Chad Sims. Grandchildren Aleigh, Brynnen, Bryndel, Mayson, and Madyson. Nieces and nephews Lindsay, Mollie, Michelle, Elizabeth, Casey, Dylan, Colton, Dalton, and Kyann. His special dogs Waffles and Tilley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws Robert and Carilyn Hopper.  Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Sat. July 12, 2025 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Rev. John Cottrell officiating. A cremation will follow the services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter.
