Elda J. Perdue, 90, of South Zanesville, passed away Sat. Sept. 29, 2018 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born on Dec. 21, 1927 in South Zanesville, a daughter of the late Ruben and Addie (Flowers) Mills. She was an active and lifetime member of South Zanesville United Methodist Church. She retired from United Technology. She was an avid sports fan.
She is survived by seven children Cindy Ullmer of Florida, Max J. Perdue, Holly Dean, Lonnie Perdue all of South Zanesville, Todd R. Perdue of West Virginia, and Jayne Penrod of Crooksville. Nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter Hilma Henry; her siblings Neal Mills, Mary Dobbins, Grant Mills, Charma Davis, Leo Mills, Marvin Mills, and Erma Husband.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Mon. Oct. 1, 2018 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tue. Oct. 2, 2018 at South Zanesville United Methodist Church with Pastor Dee Rader officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Zanesville United Methodist Church.
