Fern (Robinson) Gabriel

L. Fern (Robinson) Gabriel, 91, of South Zanesville, died Sun. July 22, 2018 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born on September 11, 1926 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Howard) Robinson. She was a member of South Zanesville United Methodist Church and a 70 year member of the Order of Eastern Star #251. She is survived by her daughter Lynn (Robert II) Gabriel-Matthews of Zanesville. Grandchildren Pamela (Shawn Connors) Hartman, Kelli Ross, and Robert (Amanda) Matthews of Zanesville. Great-Grandchildren Hannah, Gabriella, and Nash Hartman, Madison and Cam Ross, Evee and Sadee Matthews, great-grandson by choice Isaac Gill. Daughter-in-law Debbie Gabriel, sister-in-law Juanita Gabriel, brother-in-law James Ansel and special nieces Linda Coffey and Kayla Wagner, and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Merlin E. Gabriel, daughter Pamela Gabriel Miller, son Daniel Gabriel, grandson-in-law Christopher Hartman, great-grandson Quinton Hartman, step-granddaughter Danielle Helton, sisters Rose (Kenneth) Brookover, Martha (Wayne) Coffey, brother William Robinson, sister-in-law Arlene Ansel, brother-in-laws Russell and Robert Gabriel. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wed. July 25, 2018 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thur. July 26, 2018 with Rev. Tim Patton officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
