Frances Yvonne Eck, 90, of Chandlersville, passed away June 27, 2025. She was born on May 15, 1935 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Fred and Edna (Teisinger) Spencer and graduated from Lash High School in 1953. Yvonne was a member of the Chandlersville Methodist Church and the Muskingum County Farm Bureau. She was a former member of Timber Run, Chandlersville, and Carlwick Grange. She was formerly employed by Prudential Insurance Company and Muskingum County Board of Elections.

Surviving are her children David (Jenny) Eck and Deborah (Jason) Tom; grandchildren Dalton (Emily) Eck, Wyatt Tom, Allison Tom, Megan Tom, and Dallas Eck; sister Carolyn J. Spencer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Eck.

Yvonne’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Oaks at Bethesda and Shrivers Hospice for the care, compassion, and support provided to Yvonne and her family.

Friends may call from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday June 29, 2025 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage, Ohio 43791. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday June 30, 2025 at Chandlersville Methodist Church where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Eddie Warne officiating. Burial will be in Chandlersville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chandlersville Methodist Church.
