Obituary

Frederick Alan “Rick” “Fritz” Mattox, 71, of Malta,

formerly of East Fultonham, passed away suddenly on Friday March 6, 2020. He was born on Jan.11, 1949, in Zanesville, a son of the late Freddy and Evelyn Mattox. He  was retired for PCC Airfoils in Crooksville. He was a United States Army Veteran.

He loved his cats Hermie, Speedy, and Rainey.

He is survived by two daughters Laci (Josh) Woods and Kari Mattox. One son Vincent (Angela Kirkbride) Mattox. Grandchildren Caiden, Chloe, Lexi, Abby, Gaige, Noah, Taylor, Tegan, Tatum, Lillian, Lakyn, and Lacey.  One great-grandchild Kyler. One sister Donita Huff. Nephew Craig Huff. Niece Susan Huff. Great nieces and nephew Chayce, Abby, Aidyn, and Allie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine Marie (Nolder) Mattox. His brother-in-law James W. Huff.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tue. March 10, 2020 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wed. March 11, 2020 with Pastor John Colman officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Union Cemetery.
