George Murgatroyd Obituary

George (Jody) Murgatroyd, 58, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away at 11:30 p.m. Thur. Feb. 4, 2021 in San Antonio. He was born on Oct. 29, 1962, in Stuttgart, Germany, the son of Audrey (Adams) Wieser and the late George Murgatroyd. He was a United States Army Veteran with the 24th Infantry Division as a combat engineer. He served with the "Bright Star 82" in Cairo, Egypt. He is survived by the love of his life Mary K. Nelson of San Antonio. His sister Teresa (Gary) Jardine, his brothers Gregory (Donna) Murgatroyd of San Antonio and James Murgatroyd of Zanesville. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephew and a great-nephew. He loved his dogs, motorcycles, and was a huge race fan. Per his wishes a cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time.
