Gordon E Gildow

Gordon E. Gildow, 71, of South Zanesville, passed away on Wed. Dec. 16, 2020. He was born on Dec. 29, 1948 in Zanesville, a son of the late Gordon W. and Shirley Gildow. He graduated from Maysville High School in 1968. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam on the USS Duluth. He worked at Mattingly Foods for 25 years. Prior to that he had worked at Gibson Meat Packing. He coached in the Maysville Youth League for many years, making lifelong friendships with many local youth. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan. He was a longtime member of the Zanesville VFW.

He is  survived by his wife Sondra. One son Jeremy (Brooke) Gildow. One grandson Emerson. One brother Terry (Beth) Gildow. Two sisters Vicki (Keith) Watts and Carol (Steve) Davis. Many nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. Private burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery.
