Hannah Elizabeth Weaver, 94, of Zanesville, passed away on Sunday May 25, 2025 at her home. She was born on November 23, 1930 in Marinette County, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Emil and Elizabeth (Schwittay) Kobus. She received  bachelor’s degrees from Crown College of Theology and Bowling Green State University as well as a Master’s Degree from Bowling Green State University. She enjoyed sharing God’s word with others and was a part of the Christian Missionary Alliance.

She is survived by three children Joan Elizabeth (Ronald)Savage, Cynthia Ann Weaver, and Philip Andrew (Judy Denius) Weaver. Four grandchildren Karen Elizabeth Savage, John Joseph Weaver, Daniel Paul Savage, and David Michael Weaver. Four great-grandchildren Lucille Weaver, Wyatt Weaver, Alice Weaver, and Willie Weaver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Lydia Kobus Tachick, Mary E. Kobus Shipley, Esther M. Kobus, and Daniel Kobus. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 31, 2025 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage with Robert Davidson officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care 713 Forest Ave. Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
