Henry B. Gorsky, 90, formerly of Hopewell, passed away at 9:39 a.m. Thursday September 5, 2024 at Our Home New Albany. He was born on August 22, 1934 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Henry and Ruth (Rodgers) Gorsky. He worked 39 years in the oil field industry. He was a United States Army veteran serving from 1958-1962. He was a graduate of Hopewell High School and was a member of First Christian Church.  He is survived by his wife Judith (Judy) Gorsky, whom he married on May 23, 1964. Two daughters Donna L. Gorsky and Tina A. Gorsky both of Westerville. A sister Karen Adams of Dresden. A sister-in-law Bonnie Gorsky of Frazeysburg. Several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers John Gorsky, Robert Gorsky, and Tom Gorsky.  Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday September 10, 2024 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Laureen Roe officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park where Zanesville VFW Post #1058 will conduct military honors.
