Irene (Scott) Henry

Irene Henry, 81, of the Abbot Home, passed away at 11:22 p.m. Sun. Mar. 21, 2021 at Genesis Hospital. She was born on May 3, 1939 in Hocking County, a daughter of the late George Randolph and Rose Mae (Stevens) Scott. She had formerly worked as an artist at Beaumont Pottery in Crooksville. She will always be affectionately remembered by her family as "Bug" and as "Graham Cracker" by her grandchildren. She is survived by three children Wanda Henderson, Kevin Henry, and Jasper Henry. Four grandchildren Amber Johns, Jamie Henderson, Kimber Henry, and Zakary Henry. Two great-grandchildren Benjamin Johns and Abbigail Johns. One brother Delmer Scott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Howard Henry. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thur. Mar. 25, 2021 at Fultonham Cemetery.
