James (Jim) Kenneth Dodson 79, of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday April 6, 2024 at his home. He was born September 9, 1944 in Zanesville, a son of the late Roy Dodson and Ruth (Leddy) Dodson. He was a loving father and papaw. He Loved “Keeping it in the dirt!” Heavy equipment operator Truck driver Retired from the Muskingum Coal Mines Proud Veteran-Served in the Army in Germany. He is survived by one Son -James Heath (Kelli Wasmund) Dodson One Daughter-Sarah (Ralph) Savage Three grandchildren- Austin C. Nichols, Arissa M. Savage, Jesse C. Savage Special Friend/Gambling Buddy- Dave Boyer. Surviving siblings…Robert Dodson, Norris Dodson, Kathy (Jeff) Moore, Ruth Brock, Roy Dodson, Dianna Dodson. Preceding him in death- siblings Barbara Jean Bowman, Raymond Dodson, Steven Dodson, Richard Dodson.
