James A. Wills Obituary
James A. Wills, 62, of Zanesville, passed away Thursday September 23, 2021 at Genesis Hospital due to complications from COVID-19. He was born on June 28, 1959, in Zanesville, a son of the late Francis and Clara (Besser) Wills. Jim leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 37 years Brenda. Two sons Jason Wills and Brandon Wills. Grandchildren Rhiannon Sharrer, Hallie, Hannah, and Jason Wills, Jr., and Oakley Walker. His siblings Bill (Beth) Wills of Lancaster, Cathy (Paul) Hoover of Roseville, Cheryl (Bob) Wilson of Nashport, Sharon (Rex) Cornett of Zanesville, and John (Megan) Wills of Dresden. Brother-in-law Kevin Hale and sister-in-law Pam Wills. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and special nephew James Hall.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Carol (George) Rusnak and Karen Hale and one brother Robert Wills. His in-laws Clarence and Gertrude Hall. One niece Melissa Phillis Hoover.
Jim was a 1978 graduate of Maysville High School and worked for many years at Custom Coil and Longaberger's. He had a passion for guns, log cabins, muscle cars, and his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday September 26, 2021 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday September 27, 2021. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
