James “Jim” Stackhouse, 69, of South Zanesville, went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2020. He was born on August 11, 1950 in Zanesville, a son of the late James W. Stackhouse and Virginia Jane Lingle. Jim graduated from Maysville High School in 1968, where he enjoyed playing football. Jim was employed with Ohio Machinery, Shelly and Sands Company, and MacAllister Machinery in Indianapolis, Indiana where he retired after 17 years of service. Jim was a member of South Zanesville United Methodist Church and was an avid Michigan fan “Go Blue”.
Jim is survived by one son J.C. (Bobbie) Stackhouse of Shelbyville, Indiana. One daughter Kelli Stackhouse of Zanesville. Granddaughter Jaycie (Cole) Cameron of Adamsville. Grandsons Josh Stackhouse of Zanesville and Charles Kuhn of Shelbyville, Indiana. Great-granddaughter Calli Cameron of Adamsville. Two brothers Steve (Patrice) Stackhouse and Roy (Cindy) Stackhouse both of Zanesville. Also, his faithful four legged buddy, Bo.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife Debbie Stackhouse, his mother and father-in-law Florene and Charles Crippen. His sister Sue Snider.
