Janet Louise (Curry) Bussey, 82, of Zanesville, passed away on Sunday March 16, 2025. She was born on September 14, 1942, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Frederick A. and Jessie Berneda (Stoneburner) Curry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dale Eugene Bussey who died on June 22, 2005, a granddaughter Kimberlee Ann (Bussey) Boodt who died on November 20, 2023, two sisters Ruthann Marks and Alice Marie Sines, one brother Fred Curry, Jr. Janet loved diamond art and red birds. She graduated from Roseville High School in 1960. She married Dale Eugene Bussey on May 19, 1961. She is survived by her three children Dennis E. and Kim (Clark) Bussey, Dale Edward and Angela (Gordon) Bussey, and Debra L. (Bussey) and Ralph E. Lacey, Jr. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday March 21, 2025 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Dave Aldrich officiating. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery.
