John L. White Obituary

John L. White, 89, of Avondale, passed away on Jan. 30, 2021 at his family's home. He was the husband of the late Belva White.


He was born on Feb. 1, 1931 in South Zanesville, a son of the late Lawrence and Louise White. He graduated from South Zanesville High School. He was a truck driver and retired from the Army Reserve National Guard. He was a 20 year member of the Newton Township Fire Department and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.


He is survived by his children Mitch White, John (Carla) White, Jane (Tim) Lutz, Steve (Diana) White, and Janice (Lamar) Dowling. 18 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. One sister Arlene.


In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Patty and Judy, one brother Robert, and one grandson Cody Brooks.
