Judith (Judy) DeMent Richardson passed away peacefully at 11:50 a.m. Wed. Dec. 23, 2020. She was born on June 2, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Charles Dale Stull and Elizabeth Harkness Stull Rittberger. Judy graduated from Roseville High School in 1957. She was involved in school and church activities, attending Rolling Plains United Methodist Church in recent years. She worked as a retouch artist and receptionist for Ted Wright Studio for 20 years, then worked 15 years at Genesis Healthcare System until retirement.
She is survived by two sons Michael DeMent of Fultonham and David (Tina) DeMent of Roseville. One daughter Leea (Dave) Cable of South Zanesville. Four grandchilden Shanda DeMent, Ashley Fleming, Bradley Cable, and Courtney Cable. Several great-grandchildren. One sister Susan (Fred) Paul of Heath. Niece Valerie (Steve) Deedrick of Newark.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Cyril A. (Doc) DeMent and second husband Jewett E. Richardson.
Private family viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon on Wed. Dec. 30, 2020 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home in White Cottage with graveside services to follow at Zanesville Memorial Park with Pat Wiseman-Jones officiating.
