Judy L (DeBolt) Smith

Judy Lynn Smith, 62, of Zanesville, passed away in the early morning hours on Friday, February 08, 2019 at Genesis Hospital. She was born March 27, 1956 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Robert “Buck” DeBolt and the late Ruby Virginia DeBolt. Born and raised in the Muskingum County area, she attended the Muskingum University and loved to play, coach and officiate sporting events in her youth. Judy worked as a dispatcher for the Roseville, Ohio Police Department and went on to work as a dispatcher and Communications Supervisor for the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department until 1997. 

She is survived by her husband, Mark Smith, daughter Jenna Smith, sister Becky Debolt, sister, Dixie Baughman, brother Robert Debolt II, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. 

Friends may call from 6-8 p..m. Mon. Feb. 11, 2019 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tue. Feb. 12, 2019. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
