Karen J. (Sine) Pyles Obituary

KAREN JEAN PYLES, 75, of Zanesville, passed away at 10:00 p.m. Saturday February 28, 2026 at Genesis Hospice – Morrison House.


She was born on January 4, 1951 at


 Bethsaida Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio.


She was the daughter of the late Howard and Dessie Sine of Cambridge, Ohio.


She was raised in Cambridge, Ohio.


She graduated from Cambridge High School, 1969


She graduated Nurses Training, Zanesville, Ohio.  She served as a nurse all her career.


She married Tony Pyles on February 14, 1970.


She was a member Meadow Farm Church, Zanesville, where she was  active 40 years.


Her interests were she loved Euchre, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.


Funeral services will be held at Willliam Thompson & Son Funeral Home in White Cottage, Ohio on Saturday March 7, 2026 at 12:00 Noon with one hour of viewing from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon.


Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, Ohio.

 

 

She is survived by her two sons Troy (Eszter) Pyles; Grand-puppies: Finn and Gigi - of Hilliard


and  Patrick (Amanda) Pyles; Grandsons: Bodee Pyles, Kash Pyles - of Sunbury


One sister Teresa (Ron) Miller of Cambridge.


              Nieces and their children:


              Michelle Miller; Ayden and Evan Miller


              Melissa (Tom Haines); Tavyn and Allie Haines


One brother Russ (Mary) Sine of Marion


              Nephew and Niece:


              Ryan Sine; Lindsey Carlisle


A sister-in-law Rubie (Adam) Johnstone of Texas.


Life-long friend Kimberly Brown of Zanesville.


She was preceded in death by her husband Tony Pyles.


Her parents Howard and Dessie Sine.
