Kristy L. (Greiner) Quinn, 68, of Zanesville, passed away at 12:57 a.m. Wed. Dec. 22, 2021 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House after an eight year battle with scleroderma. She was born on Feb. 2, 1953 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Weldon and Jean Greiner. She was the founder and owner of The Sunshine Shoppe on Putnam Ave. for 35 years. She was a past member of the Muskingum Valley Boating Association and the South Zanesville Emergency Squad as an EMT. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was very instrumental in starting the meal program for the homeless. She graduated from Maysville High School in the class of 1971.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years Dan Quinn. Three step-daughters Tabby (Steve) Wollard, Angie (Shane) Rasor, and Beth (Drake) Prouty. Seven grandchildren Madison, Jaden, Makenzie, Hope, Seth, Hannah, and Averie. One brother Kevin (Barb) Greiner. One sister Karen (Rick) Hazen. Sister-in-law Kay Jones. Sister-in-law Marty Greiner. Her special puppy Bailey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Keith Greiner and one nephew Christopher Greiner.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sun. Dec. 26, 2021 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage and one hour prior to the service which will be held at 1:00 p.m. Mon. Dec. 27, 2021 with Rev. Eddie Warne and Pastor Tabby Wollard officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery near Sonora.
