Leah J. Wilson, 79, of Zanesville, went to join her husband Lawrence in their heavenly home on Feb. 18, 2022. She was born on Dec. 30, 1942 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Howard and Ethel (Arbuckle) Bussey. She was a member of Meadow Farm Church, she worked for many years at Essex Wire and Nelson-McCoy Pottery, enjoyed fishing, camping, was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her three children Tamara (Brent) Wilson Vallee, James (Amy) Wilson, and Lori (Dean) Wilson Dingey. Five grandchildren Brent (Alicia) Vallee II, Brittany (Adam) Lochstampfor, Ashley Smith, April (Andrew) Smith, and Austin (Alexa Flowers) Wilson. Eight great-grandchildren Lexus Yinger, Adilyn and Kellan Vallee, Carson and Tanner Lochstampfor, Leah and Hunter Fishbaugh, and Ariella Wilson. Two brothers Bill (Judy) Bussey and Joe (Sandy) Bussey. Two sisters-in-law Janet Bussey and Ruth Bussey. Special friend Carolyn (John) Lent. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence "Larry" Wilson. Four brothers Jim (Shirley) Bussey, Dale Bussey, Howard Bussey, and Willis Bussey. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Mon. Feb. 21, 2022 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m Tue. Feb. 22, 2022 at Meadow Farm Church with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. A cremation will follow the service with a private family gathering at a later date.
