Loren "Pete" C. Wilhite

Loren C. "Pete" Wilhite, 93, of Zanesville, passed away at 7:35 p.m. Wed. July 21, 2021 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on April 1, 1928 in Philo, a son of the late Ted Wilhite and Ostra Spurrier. He was a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by one daughter Diane (Gary) Pike. Three sons Steve Wilhite, Kevin Wilhite, and Keith Wilhite. Five grandchildren Jason Factor, Matt Wilhite, Wendi Grinstead, Stephanie Strauch, and Hayleigh Wilhite. Twelve greatgrandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren. One sister Jeanie (John) Donnelly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Wilhite who died in 2003. One daughter-in-law Kathy Wilhite. Siblings Cleo Wilhite, Farris Wilhite, Betty Quinn, and Mildred Burchett. One grandson Steve Wilhite, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday August 8, 2021 at Duncan Falls Cemetery where Zanesville VFW and American Legion will conduct military honors.
