Louise G. Sons, 97, of Zanesville, passed away at 10:00 p.m. Sunday June 13, 2021 at The Oaks at Northpointe. She was born on May 17, 1924 in McLuney, a daughter of the late Elmer and Della (Goff) Brown. Her life of 97 years was filled with a devotion to her family and church, both of which she loved deeply. Her faith and conviction defined her life and will continue to live on through the memories we all share. She was a longtime member of the New Lexington United Pentecostal Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She transferred her membership to the Anchor Church in Zanesville in 2014. She had no children, however, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews that she mothered and loved deeply. She also loved all those that she taught in Sunday School through the years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Danny Sons. Two brothers Delmer Brown and Denzil Brown. Five sisters Irene Young, Inez Filkins, Iva Spires, Ruby Smith and Ethel Hammer.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday June 17, 2021 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday June 18, 2021 at the Anchor Church in Zanesville with Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating. Burial will be in Crooksville Cemetery.,
