Margaret Kathleen Dickerson Scott

Margaret K. Scott died August 12, 2023 at her home outside of Pleasantville Ohio. Born September 13, 1932 Roseville Ohio.  She was a longtime resident of Muskingum Co. and then near Pleasantville Ohio.  She wintered in Okeechobee Florida for the last 37 years.  Retired owner of C-Joy Realty Inc. in Lancaster Ohio. She also had been co-owner MK-RL Scott Builders and Scott Appliances in South Zanesville.  She enjoyed traveling all over the United States and visited every state except Hawaii. 

She was preceeded in death by her loving husband of 69 years Richard L. Scott, daughter Debra S. Scott and infant Son Richard L. Scott Jr. parents Alice and Charles Arthur Dickerson, sisters June (Walt) Wiseman and Dorothy (George) Head and 4 legged companion Stormy.

 She is survived by her daughters Sherry L. Scott Gulfport Florida and Vicky L. (Mark) Smith Pleasantville Ohio, Grandchildren Scott (Nicole) Wood, Robert (Brandy Barrett) Wood, Alan M. Smith, Brandy K. Smith (Zeb) Wilkes, Great Grandchildren Dezuhray Barrett, Leland Barrett and Coraline Wilkes Brother Arthur E. (Beverly)  Dickerson, 4 legged family Sweetie and Bo and long time family friend Lee Carpenter.

 A special thank you to her loving caregivers/helpers  Shelly, Tabby, Angie, Tera, Linda, Connie, Brandy B., Mitzi, Kelly and  Fairhope Hospice. Your great care the last 6 years made it possible for her to continue to live in her home.

Family will receive family and friends from 10:00-11:30 on August 15, 2023 at William Thompson and Son Funeral Home in White Cottage Ohio. Service will be immediately following.  Following the service there will be a luncheon at Eagle Sticks Golf Club. Friends may contribute in her memory to FairHope Hospice Lancaster Ohio.

Private ceremony at a later time for the burial of cremains at Old Fultonham Cemetery Muskingum County Ohio.
