Marion Perry Obituary

Mr. Marion Paul Perry, 90, of Roseville, Ohio, passed away on March 13, 2024. He was born on November 18, 1933 in Roseville, a son of the late Lyle and Carrie (Henning) Perry. He was a dedicated family man who cherished spending time with loved ones, especially during holidays. He was known for his warm and welcoming nature, always eager to engage in conversations with anyone he met. A hardworking individual, he took pride in maintaining his farm and continued to mow his own grass until the age of 89. In his younger days, he enjoyed  hunting and throughout his life he had a passion for fishing, particularly for crappies. He delighted in sharing detailed stories of his hunting and fishing adventures with family and friends. Escaping the cold, he and his beloved wife, Mary Sue Perry, spent many winters in Florida over the last 25 years. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife Mary Sue, children Paul, Connie, and Timothy, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even two great-greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Bonnie. Having worked at Zanesville Mould/Anchor Glass, he climbed the ranks to become a respected foreman before retiring. He was also a dedicated supporter of Saint Thomas Aquinas Church through his wife Mary. Apart from his professional life, he found joy in hunting, fishing, and farming. He actively participated in local community dinner fundraisers and supported various charitable causes. Contributions in his memory can be made to the Saint Thomas Aquina Church Roof Fund or Genesis Hospice.
