Patricia Joanne (Patty) Young, 74, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on September 24th in Ocala, Florida.

Patty was born in Zanesville, Ohio to Roy Lee Rucker Sr. and Glenna Faye Rucker on January 28, 1948. She went to high school at Roseville High School and graduated in 1966.  She worked as a risk analyst for Huntington Mortgage Company for 16 years.  After retirement, tired of the snow, ice and cold, she followed her dreams and moved to Florida.

Patty is survived by her husband, Frank Young of Ocala, son, Terry (Heather) Lynn Jr., son, Robert Young and daughter, Misty Cornett, sister, Kathy (Joe) Sneddon, brother, John Rucker, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Rucker Sr, mother, Glenna Rucker, sister, Sharon Lane and brother, Roy Rucker Jr.

A memorial service will be held at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home on October 15th at 11am.  A wake will be held after the service at Eastside Community Ministry, 221 Stillwell Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.  Visitation will be held at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home on October 14th from 6pm to 8pm.
