Paul G. Quisling, 80, of South Zanesville, passed away at 6:20 p.m. Tue. Jan. 12, 2021 at Genesis Hospital following complications from a prolonged medical condition. He was born on Sept. 26, 1940 in Forest City, Iowa, a son of the late George Edwin and Astrid Elizabeth (Haugo) Quisling. Paul was an executive vice-president of finance, planning, and control for Jeno's Inc. in Duluth, Minnesota. He led the task force in relocating the pizza making operation from Duluth, Minnesota to Jackson and Wellston, Ohio. He later worked for Perry County Foods as a plant manager. He then decided to expand his career and went into real estate where he worked for Findeiss Realty for 20 years and then for Y-City Realty for 2 years. Paul loved working with people and helping them find their perfect home. Paul helped people recover from the earthquake in Alaska in 1964 while in the Army National Guard. He taught confirmation class at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Duluth. He also served on the church council at St. Luke's Lutheran Church on Pine Street in Zanesville. He served on the Board of Director's at SEAT and served on the village council in South Zanesville. Paul also was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Joy Quisling of South Zanesville., His children Robb Quisling and Annie Napoli of Duluth, MN, Ryan Quisling of Duluth, MN, and Jamie Quisling of Columbus, Ohio. Grandchildren Edward Napoli-Quisling (Katie Bickley) of New Haven, CT, Celia Napoli-Quisling of St. Paul, MN, and Vincent Napoli-Quisling of Duluth, MN. His siblings Jean and Wes Wistrom of Estero, FL, Philip and Sandy Quisling of Roseville, CA.
