Paul Wesley Walton, 82, of Zanesville, formerly of Fultonham, passed away at his home . He was born on October 30, 1938 in Corning, Ohio, a son of the late Leonard and Margaret (Kranyik) Walton. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved farming, woodworking, family vacations. Though he never had extensive formal education, he was skilled in plumbing, carpentry, mechanics, and he had been employed as a welder for 33 years at Rockwell International.
He is survived by his wife Mitzi Jo (Wilson) Walton. His children Paul Thomas (Robin) Walton of New Lexington, Deborah (Darin) Walton Trainer, Vicki Walton Withrow, and Lisa Walton Mason all of Zanesville. Daughter-in-law Nancy Walton. His daughter Pam's significant other Carl Doyle.16 grandchildren and 30 greatgrandchildren. Four sisters Pauletta Reed, Donna Archer, Carol Howell, and Ann Kreitz. Numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons Rodney Walton and Billy Walton. One daughter Pamela Walton Longwell. One granddaughter Mitzie Bigham. One sister Erma Blake. One greatgrandson Delane Abbott IV.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday August 2, 2021 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 3, 2021 where friends may also call from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeep Graham officiating. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery.
