Phyllis M. Madinger

Phyllis M. Madinger, 86, of Zanesville, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Monday June 14, 2021 at Willow Haven Nursing Home. She was born on November 24, 1934 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Clarence and Georgia (White) Madinger. She lived and worked in Columbus for many years, working for the Bureau of Worker's Compensation. She did volunteer work at food kitchens in Columbus and later volunteered at Christ's Table in Zanesville.  She had a kind and generous spirit and was helpful to everyone. 

She is survived by one brother Marvin Madinger and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great great-nieces and great great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers Robert, Gilbert, Franklin, Donald, and Albert.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wed. June 16, 2021 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thur. June 17, 2021 and friends may also call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Dawn Remster officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ's Table.
