Randall Lee Glines Obituary

Randall Lee Glines, 65, of Avondale, passed away on Tuesday January 6, 2026. Randall was born in Muskingum County on May 21, 1960 to the late John and Eleanor (Knox) Glines. Randall was a 1978 graduate of Maysville High School. He married Mary (Wilson) Glines on December 6, 1978. He was a family man who loved spending time with his daughter and grandkids. He had been employed in the oil fields, working for Producers Services, later was a weaver at Longaberger, then worked at Genesis in the food and nutrition department, and then retired from Shirer Meats. Randall’s favorite name was “Papa”. He had three little ones who adored him and had him wrapped around their fingers.  He had coached youth league for his daughters. He also enjoyed trips to Tennessee.


     He is survived by his wife Mary (Wilson) Glines. Four daughters Emily (Seth) Scheffler, Abby (Jason) Brock, Lisa (Jason) Leaman, and Amy (Chad) Saunders. His grandchildren Knox, Nellie, and Vada Scheffler, Nixon and Ruxin Saunders, and Margaret Brock. His sister Sandra (Glen) Call. Many sister and brother-in-laws as well as nieces and nephews.

     Friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday January 9, 2026 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 10, 2026. John Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
