Raymond H Samson, Sr.

Raymond H. Samson, Sr., 82, of Zanesville, passed away at 8:40 a.m. Thur. Dec. 3, 2020 at Genesis Hospital. He was born on Oct. 26, 1938 in Zanesville, a son of the late Oscar and Rose (Buck) Samson. He was retired from Brockway Glass after 30 years of service. Following his retirement, he continued to work at Custom Coil until last week. He is survived by five children Raymond H. Samson, Jr., Phillip I. (Mary Ann) Samson, Sr., Richard A. Samson, Sr., Tanya L. (Del Ray) Monson, and Sandtee L. (Venus) Samson. Eight grandchildren Phillip I. Samson, Jr., Richard A. Samson, Jr., Candice (Em) Ganard, Brandi Samson, Amy (Brandon) Rexroad, John (Ashley) Monson, Tiffany (Jason) Selaga, and Mindy Samson. 25 great-grandchildren. Two sisters Waveline Coleman and Mary Kay Parrill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty K. Samson. One daughter Tamaka Glee Samson. Ten siblings.

Private funeral services will be held at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage.
