Rebecca "Beckie" Adams, 76, of Avondale, passed away at 11:12 a.m. Saturday January 18, 2025  at Genesis Hospice due to complications of a stroke. She was born on December 9, 1948, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late William and Patricia (Smith) Murgatroyd. She had been employed at ODC Nursing Home and retired from the Beckett House where she worked as a nurse's aid. She was an avid O.S.U. fan.  She is survived by her husband of 53 years Earle Adams. Three sons Troy (Wendy) Adams, Tom (Amanda) Adams, and Tim (Tonda)  Adams.  Nine grandchildren Dakota, Addison, Ashlynn, Blake, Caitlyn, Mason, Makenna, Cody, and Samantha. One brother William (Patricia) Murgatroyd. One sister Kathy (Steven) Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters Linda Polen, Renee Glosser, Victoria Reed, and Carol Paxton. Two brothers Danny Murgatroyd and George Murgatroyd. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
