On Monday, September 20, 2021, Renetta McHenry, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at age 75 at her residence in Zanesville, OH.

Renetta was born on October 12, 1945 in McAndrews, KY to Tony and Almoia (Ball) Chapman. She was a graduate of Pikeville High School in 1964 and later attended Wake Technical Community College while she resided in Raleigh, NC. On August 28, 1970, she married Wilbert J. McHenry. They raised two children, Latonia and Lionel.

Renetta was a warm and friendly woman who also had a great sense of humor. She loved to make people comfortable and help others when needed. Renetta was a sales associate for Sears in Zanesville until her retirement in 2012. Outside of Zanesville, she worked various jobs while living in Raleigh, NC and Lakeland, FL. Her first job was with Jerry's Restaurant in Pikeville, KY.
 
Survivors include husband, Wilbert McHenry of the home; her daughter Latonia K. McHenry of San Antonio, Texas; her son
Lionel C. (Faith) McHenry of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Mercedes L. (Justin) Long of Townsend, MT., Dalton W. McHenry
of Zanesville; one step-grandson, Ricky (Carson) Shackles of Zanesville; three great-grandchildren: Bella, Lucy and Lucas
Long of Townsend, MT.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Carnellis Kent Chapman.
